Originally, ‍her⁢ character had‍ a dire health issue, but Mullally‍ suggested⁣ a change to keep the​ comedy light-hearted.

Mullally recalls ‍evenings spent in Sarandon’s‍ hotel room, laughing‍ about the day’s events. “Just kind of recapping crazy things that ‌had happened during ⁢the day and crying⁢ with laughter. There’s nothing better.” Sarandon fondly⁢ remembers attending a live performance of the “Rocky Horror Show” during Pride Week with Mullally, which left the audience in awe.
