New allegations surface against Sean “Diddy” Combs
Accusations of a leaked video and new claims of assault
In a recent development, a lawyer representing a new accuser of Sean “Diddy” Combs has revealed that she was approached regarding the sale of a pornographic video allegedly featuring the hip-hop mogul. This comes amid ongoing federal charges against Combs for sex trafficking and racketeering.
The video scandal
Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, the attorney, disclosed on a news program that she was contacted by an individual attempting to sell a video purportedly involving Combs and another high-profile person. “There have been tapes circulating in Hollywood, but one particular person reached out to me about a specific video they possessed,” Mitchell-Kidd stated. She further explained that the video appeared to be recorded in Combs’ Atlanta home and suggested that the person in the video might not have been aware they were being filmed.
New assault allegations
Mitchell-Kidd also mentioned that a new client came forward, claiming that Combs raped her in 2018. The client reportedly filed a police report at the time of the incident. “She recounted her assault and escape to me,” Mitchell-Kidd said. The client was allegedly at a friend’s house with industry connections when Combs arrived.
The client believed that Combs intended to sex traffic her. “She was served a drink, felt woozy, and was then sexually assaulted by Combs with an inanimate object,” Mitchell-Kidd detailed. “He then directed another man to assault her while he watched.” The client managed to escape, running into the street where a neighbor witnessed her distress.
Combs’ ongoing legal battles
These new allegations add to the mounting legal troubles for Combs, who is currently in custody awaiting trial. He was indicted earlier this month on charges of running a criminal enterprise that involved assaulting and trafficking women. The indictment outlines a pattern of abuse dating back to at least 2008, with accusations of coercing women into orchestrated sexual encounters with male sex workers transported across state lines and internationally. Combs’ bail was denied due to concerns he might flee the country.
Previous lawsuits and current status
This latest lawsuit is at least the tenth against Combs, following a high-profile case filed by Cassie Ventura in November 2023, which triggered a federal investigation into sex trafficking and racketeering. The newest lawsuit, filed in New York federal court, accuses Combs of drugging and raping a woman in 2001, with the involvement of his bodyguard.
Reports indicate that Combs is currently housed in the same unit of Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center as Sam Bankman-Fried, the convicted crypto mogul.
Defense statement
Following Combs’ arrest on September 16, his lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, issued a statement expressing disappointment with the prosecution’s decision. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist,” Agnifilo said. “He is an imperfect person but not a criminal. Mr. Combs has been cooperative with the investigation and voluntarily relocated to New York in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve judgment until all facts are known. These are the actions of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
Agnifilo has not yet responded to requests for comments on the latest claims about the video and the new accuser.
