European Film Academy unveils new additions to the feature film selection
The European Film Academy has recently expanded its Feature Film Selection for the upcoming European Film Awards, adding 16 new titles to the already announced 29 films. This brings the total to 45 films that will be considered for nominations. The nominees are set to be revealed on November 5.
Celebrated films from Venice make the cut
Among the newly added films are several that have already garnered acclaim at the Venice Film Festival. Pedro Almodóvar’s Golden Lion winner, The Room Next Door, leads the pack. Other notable mentions include the Grand Jury Prize winner Vermiglio, the Special Jury Prize winner April, and the Horizon winner The New Year That Never Came.
