Fresh off a successful eight-city sell-out arena tour, comedic powerhouse Shane Gillis is gearing up for his most ambitious project yet. Beginning January 10 at San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center, Shane Gillis Live will traverse 27 cities across North America and Europe. From the American Airlines Center in Dallas to London’s iconic O2, Gillis is poised to leave a mark on some of the grandest stages.

Partnering with Outback Presents, Gillis will perform at notable venues, including Tampa’s Amalie Arena and Dublin’s 3Arena. This sprawling tour follows the success of his Netflix special, Beautiful Dogs, which not only made Netflix Top 10 in five countries but also spent two weeks in the U.S. Top 10 list. The multi-talented comedian also had a notable hosting gig on Saturday Night Live this February.

Gillis’ journey to stardom wasn’t without its bumps. Infamously hired and then fired from Saturday Night Live in 2019 over resurfaced offensive jokes, Gillis managed to turn adversity into advocacy. Despite his premature exit, he stayed in contact with SNL creator Lorne Michaels. Last month’s revelations from Michaels disclosed that he was unsettled by NBC’s decision to let Gillis go. This enduring relationship bore fruit when Gillis was invited back to host the show’s 49th season.
