“Wicked” is going to be even more Pop-ular this week with the Tuesday launch of downloadable content tied to the Universal film in action-adventure video game “Funko Fusion.”
Developed by 10:10 Games, the game, which released in September, is filled with Funko Pop! figurine versions of iconic pop culture figures. The game is a co-op action title that mashes up characters from “Jurassic World,” “Back to the Future” and more beloved, largely NBCUniversal, IP into Funko Pop! format alongside hero Freddy Funko and his evil twin Eddy Funko.
Now, “Wicked,” joins a list of “Funko Fusion” collaborations with Universal, which will next include NBC’s “The Office” characters.
The “Wicked” characters will be available in two different DLC packs priced at $7.99 each: Pack 1 includes the addition of Glinda and Elphaba as playable characters in the game, and Pack 2 brings in the The Wizard and Madame Morrible.
