Sony Pictures Television is set to bring the universe of “The Boys” to life with a unique fast-food experience in Los Angeles. From October 11-13, fans can visit Vought A Burger at 8175 Melrose Ave. in West Hollywood, CA. The pop-up will be open from 3-8pm on Friday, 12-8pm on Saturday, and 12-5pm on Sunday.
A taste of the superhero world
Visitors to Vought A Burger can indulge in themed food and beverages inspired by the hit series. Menu items include the Big Homie burger, Golden Godolkin nuggets, Seven Tower burger, and Homelander’s Freedom Fries. Beyond the culinary delights, the pop-up will feature exclusive merchandise, programming, and hidden easter eggs from “The Boys,” “Gen V,” and “The Boys Presents: Diabolical.”
Fans attending the event will also have the chance to win Sony Electronics televisions, sound bars, and more. This immersive experience is a must-visit for any fan of the series, offering a unique way to engage with the world of “The Boys.”

Celebrating disability inclusion in Hollywood
In honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, HRTS will host its inaugural Disability Inclusion Workshop on Thursday, October 10, from 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Amazon MGM Studios. This event, in partnership with Easterseals and Amazon MGM Studios, aims to highlight the contributions of disabled talents and creatives in the entertainment industry.
Workshop highlights
The workshop will feature a networking lunch, expert speaker panels, and breakout group discussions led by industry panelists. Topics of discussion will include:
- Ensuring an accessible work environment
- The importance of intersectionality in disability discussions
- Prioritizing hiring from the disability community across business units
- Supporting the creation, marketing, and funding of diverse disabled stories
Corporate member benefits and individual tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a complimentary livestream also provided. The registration deadline is Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 12 p.m. PT.
ITV Studios strengthens its Americas team
ITV Studios has announced the appointment of Katie Buchanan as Executive Vice President of Americas, Global Partnerships. Buchanan joins from A+E Networks and will report to Tom Clark, Executive Vice President of Global Sales & Commercial Strategy in London.
Strategic leadership
Tom Clark expressed his excitement about Buchanan’s appointment, highlighting her strategic leadership and relationship-building skills. Buchanan will be responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing the potential of ITV Studios’ content and formats across the US, Canadian, and Latin American markets.
Joining Buchanan are Maria Ines Rodriguez, who will serve as VP Sales US and Latin America, and Eisha Fremerman, Senior Sales Manager US and Latin America. Rodriguez previously held the position of VP SVOD Acquisitions at TelevisaUnivision (ViX) and SVP Content & Sales at Disney. Fremerman joins from QVC, where she was a Streaming Programming Consultant and an Acquisitions Manager at Britbox.
Katie Buchanan expressed her enthusiasm for joining ITV Studios, stating, “I’m excited to be joining this amazing company and incredible team of people.
