“Too Much Love” (original title: “L’homme qui aimait trop”) is an eight-episode thriller from Slovakian production company Piknik Pictures. Based on a Canadian format by Duo Productions, this series tells the intriguing story of a man whose two wives meet for the first time after he is hospitalized following a car accident. Kelly Wright, KI’s MD of distribution, expressed excitement about the new slate, highlighting the variety and quality of the content. “We’re thrilled to be supplementing our buzziest drama slate yet with two very different relationship dramas – the feel-good romcom ‘Save The Date’ and the European thriller ‘Too Much Love,'” Wright said. “They join crime drama ‘The 11th Body’ and mystery thriller ‘Valhalla Project,’ which are both MIP drama showcase-shortlisted titles, alongside two KI-produced thrillers, ‘Rough Diamonds’ and ‘Echo 3.'”
Wright also emphasized the significance of the factual slate, which includes two shows greenlit for production and distribution: “Catch Me If You Can” and “Hitler’s Treasure Hunters,” alongside BBC One’s “SAS: Catching the Criminals.”
Keshet International is returning to Cannes with its largest delegation since 2019, including sales coordinator Kate Orlovsky, who will be based at Riviera 7 at the Palais des Festivals.
