The French TV network M6 has recently launched its AVOD platform, M6+, and has now entered into a long-term partnership with Paramount’s FAST service, Pluto TV. This collaboration is set to transform the streaming landscape in France by integrating M6 content channels into Pluto TV and creating a dedicated Pluto TV-branded area on M6+. Additionally, the partnership includes an advertising arrangement aimed at scaling the free ad-supported streaming business in the region.

Under this new deal, M6+ users will be able to enjoy 12 Pluto TV channels, offering nearly 3,000 hours of diverse content. This includes popular franchises such as “Just Tattoo Of Us,” “Alerte à Malibu,” “Yu-Gi-Oh!,” “Blue Bloods,” “Olive et Tom,” and “MTV Classics.” The channels will cover a wide range of genres, including movies, series, and animations, ensuring there is something for everyone.
Pluto TV users benefit from M6 content
Conversely, Pluto TV users will gain access to 6 M6 channels, representing 2,000 hours of content. This includes well-loved shows like “Zone Interdite,” “Turbo,” “Les reines du shopping,” and “Les Marseillais.” This exchange of content between the two platforms is designed to enhance the viewing experience for users of both services.
A strategic advertising partnership
M6 takes the lead in advertising
On the commercial front, M6 will become Pluto TV’s advertising partner in France. This means M6 will have the ability to sell the entire Pluto TV inventory in the French market as part of its portfolio. Additionally, Paramount Advertising in France will collaborate with the M6 advertising team to sell Pluto TV inventory, creating a robust advertising network.
