Al B. Sure! calls for investigation into Kim Porter’s death
A new twist in the Kim Porter case
In a surprising turn of events, R&B singer Al B. Sure! has taken to social media to call for a thorough investigation into the 2018 death of model-turned-actress Kim Porter. Porter, who was once romantically involved with Al B. Sure! and later with music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, passed away from lobar pneumonia. However, Al B. Sure! suggests that her death was not as straightforward as it seems.
Allegations of a conspiracy
Al B. Sure!, whose real name is Albert Joseph Brown, posted a series of messages on Instagram, alleging that multiple individuals were involved in a conspiracy surrounding Porter’s death. He claims that Porter was on the verge of revealing sensitive information, which led to her untimely demise. Brown refers to her death as a “tragic murder” and insists that her memoir, which was never published, contained explosive details.
The unpublished memoir
According to Brown, Porter’s memoir, titled KIM’S LOST WORDS: A Journey for Justice, From the Other Side, was saved on a hard drive and later released by L.A. record producer Chris Todd under the pseudonym Jamal T. Millwood. Brown alleges that the memoir’s pages were swapped to prevent the publication of inflammatory details. He claims to have learned about the contents of the memoir through intimate conversations with Porter.
Ignored by authorities
Brown also states that his attempts to expose the alleged cover-up have been ignored by authorities for years. He claims to have been “medically silenced” while trying to bring the truth to light. In 2023, Brown experienced severe health issues, including multiple system organ failure and a liver transplant, which he described as a near-death experience.
The mysterious circumstances of Porter’s death
Porter was found dead in her Toluca Lake, California home in 2018 after experiencing flu-like symptoms for several days. Initially, the coroner listed her cause of death as “deferred” but later changed it to lobar pneumonia. Porter had three children with Combs—Christian Combs and twins D’Lila and Jessie Combs—and a son, Quincy Brown, with Al B. Sure!.
Missing devices and alleged cover-up
In his Instagram posts, Brown mentions that notes intended for Porter’s memoir were stolen and that her devices, including a computer, have disappeared. He suggests that these devices contain critical evidence that has been concealed. Brown also hints at a connection between Porter’s death and the alleged murders of several prominent artists, implying a broader conspiracy.
Legal response from Combs’ attorney
Erica Wolf, an attorney for Combs, responded to the allegations by stating that the memoir is a fabrication and disrespectful to Porter’s legacy. Wolf emphasized that Porter died of natural causes and that the book is a shameless attempt to profit from tragedy.
“The Kim Porter ‘memoir’ is fake. It is also offensive – a shameless attempt to profit from tragedy. Chris Todd has no respect for Ms. Porter or her family, who deserve better,” Wolf wrote in a statement. “Unlike the fabrications in his sickening ‘memoir,’ it is an established fact that Ms. Porter died of natural causes. May she rest in peace.”
The broader implications
The allegations made by Al B. Sure! have sparked a renewed interest in the circumstances surrounding Kim Porter’s death. While the official cause of death remains lobar pneumonia, the claims of a cover-up and conspiracy have raised questions that may warrant further investigation. The entertainment industry, known for its complex and often secretive nature, may hold more secrets than the public realizes.
