“It’s all been leading to this.” The final five episodes of “Cobra Kai” will debut on Netflix on Feb. 13. A brief trailer for Season 6 Part 3 teases “four decades of history all leading to this moment” as “Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai must reckon with their pasts while facing an uncertain future both on and off the mat.” The finale of “Cobra Kai” builds on four decades since the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament in the original “Karate Kid,” in which Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) faced off against Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and clenched a victory. Told from Johnny’s perspective, “Cobra Kai” examines his relationship with Daniel years after “The Karate Kid,” as both men run rival dojos. The cast also includes Martin Kove, Thomas Ian Griffith, Xolo Maridueña, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser and Tanner Buchanan. Rounding out the ensemble are Peyton List, Gianni Decenzo, Courtney Henggeler, Vanessa Rubio, Dallas Dupree Young, Yuji Okumoto, Alicia Hannah-Kim, Griffin Santopietro, Oona O’Brien, Rayna Vallandingham, Patrick Luwis and Lewis Tan. A new “Karate Kid” movie, “Karate Kid: Legends,” starring Macchio and Jackie Chan, will premiere in theaters on May 30. “Cobra Kai” is written and executive produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg via their Counterbalance Entertainment banner.
