Twelve years after Wizards of Waverly Place ended, the Big Apple has a new wizard in town. Sequel series Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is now streaming on Disney+, 17 years after the original teen fantasy show that launched the careers of Selena Gomez, David Henrie and Jake T. Austin. The spinoff sitcom stars Janice LeAnn Brown as Billie, a young and powerful wizard who requires training. She finds the now-grown-up Justin Russo (reprised by Henrie), who had given up his wizarding life to live free of magic with his wife and two sons on Staten Island.
