\tThe 19th Jogja-Netpac Asian Film Festival has wrapped in Yogyakarta (Jogja), Indonesia, with local feature \u201cYohanna\u201d dominating the Indonesian Screen Awards while Neo Sora\u2019s \u201cHappyend\u201d secured the festival\u2019s top Golden Hanoman Award. \t\u201cYohanna,\u201d directed by Razka Robby Ertanto, collected five honors including best film, director, storytelling, performance (Laura Basuki, Kirana Putri Grasela, Iqua Tahlequa), and cinematography (Odyssey Flores). Truong Minh Quy\u2019s \u201cViet and Nam\u201d took home the Silver Hanoman Award. \tIn other awards, \u201cMa \u2013 Cry of Silence\u201d by The Maw Naing won the Netpac Award and Geber Award, while Hung Chen\u2019s \u201cWhen the Wind Rises\u201d secured both the Blencong Award and JAFF Student Award. Behzad Nalbandi\u2019s \u201cAnita, Lost in the News\u201d received a Special Jury Mention. \t \tThe festival program featured a masterclass with Taiwan-based auteur Tsai Ming Liang, which attracted filmmakers like Riri Riza, Mira Lesmana, Kamila Andini, and JAFF director Ifa Isfansyah. Three of Tsai\u2019s works were screened: \u201cVive L\u2019Amour\u201d (1994), \u201cGoodbye, Dragon Inn\u201d (2003), and \u201cAbiding Nowhere\u201d (2024). \t\t\t \t\t\tPopular on Variety\t\t \t \t\t \t \tThe Nocturnal program returned with midnight screenings, while the event\u2019s cinematic concert series featured two performances: Garin Nugroho\u2019s \u201cSamsara\u201d with live musical accompaniment and a collaboration between artists Sal Priadi and Kunto Aji. \tJAFF continued its inclusive screening program, Bioskop Bisik, catering to visually and hearing-impaired audiences. The festival drew over 24,000 attendees, marking its highest turnout since launching in 2006.
