The show ranks as the second-largest Korean series debut ever on the platform globally, trailing only \u201cMoving\u201d \u2013 both series created by webtoon artist Kangfull. \tThis success follows Disney+\u2019s November announcement that \u201cMoving\u201d Season 2 is in development, cementing their partnership with Kangfull. The first season of \u201cMoving,\u201d which launched in 2023, emerged as Disney+\u2019s number one local original title globally last year, winning over 10 industry awards. \t\u201cLight Shop\u201d follows six strangers who find themselves trapped in a dark and mysterious neighborhood with no memory of how they arrived. Each character grapples with traumatic events from their past as they navigate their surreal circumstances. The series is adapted for the screen by Kangfull and is directed by Kim Hiewon. \tThe performance of both \u201cMoving\u201d and \u201cLight Shop\u201d underscores Disney+\u2019s growing strength in Korean content.
