\tThe grisly tale of survival and deception is directed by Carlos \u2018Charly\u2019 Goitia (\u201cNightmare Radio: The Night Stalker\u201d and \u201cThe Game of 100 Candles: The Last Possession\u201d). The film is produced by Nicol\u00e1s Onetti, known for films such as \u201c1978\u201d and What the Waters Left Behind,\u201d with a screenplay penned by Gonzalo Mellid and Camilo Zaffora.<\/p>\n
\t\u201cPlay Dead\u201d follows the harrowing journey of Alison (portrayed by Paula Brasca), a woman who finds herself seriously injured and trapped in a dim, cryptic basement. Desperate to survive, she must use her wits and pretend to be dead in order to blend in with the corpses around her. As she desperately fights to stay alive, Alison uncovers a horrifying secret: a grotesque, ritualistic celebration is unfolding in the house above. With each passing moment, the danger intensifies.<\/p>\n
\tThe thriller draws heavy inspiration from horror classics like \u201cThe Texas Chainsaw Massacre\u201d and \u201cDon\u2019t Breathe,\u201d combining relentless tension with grotesque horror to create a truly unforgettable experience.
