\tTom Holland appeared on a Christmas-themed episode of the \u201cDish\u201d podcast and got asked what it\u2019s like acting opposite his longtime girlfriend Zendaya. The two have starred in three \u201cSpider-Man\u201d movies and will spend much of 2025 on film sets together as the stars of a fourth \u201cSpider-Man\u201d movie and of Christopher Nolan\u2019s mysterious new film. <\/p>\n
\t\u201cStudios love it. One hotel room. Separate drivers. We\u2019re not crazy now. Listen it\u2019s work, alright?\u201d Holland quipped when asked about being Zendaya\u2019s co-star.<\/p>\n
\t\u201cOh God, yeah. It\u2019s a saving grace. Yeah, best thing that\u2019s ever happened to me,\u201d he added on a more serious note. \u201cIt\u2019s just that perfect thing when you\u2019re on set and a director will give you a note that maybe you don\u2019t agree with, or I know that she doesn\u2019t particularly like, and it\u2019s just that, like, familiar glance at each other of like, can\u2019t wait to talk about that later.\u201d \t<\/p>\n
\tZendaya previously raved to\u00a0Vanity Fair\u00a0about working with Holland and said it\u2019s not weird to be scene partners together. <\/p>\n
\t\t\t \t\t\tPopular on Variety\t\t \t \t\t \t \t\u201cIt\u2019s actually strangely comfortable,\u201d Zendaya said. \u201cIt\u2019s like second nature, if anything. You feel extra safe with the person you\u2019re acting beside. I love working with him. He\u2019s so talented, and so passionate about what he does. He always gives things one thousand percent, even if he\u2019s absolutely worn down. I really appreciate that about him. It feels pretty normal. That\u2019s how we met. Literally, at a chemistry read.\u201d<\/p>\n
\tHolland and Zendaya will be starring opposite Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron and more in Nolan\u2019s new movie, which is set to open in theaters on July 17, 2026 from Universal Pictures. Holland told the \u201cDish\u201d hosts that he still hasn\u2019t seen the script for the movie. <\/p>\n
\t\u201cIt\u2019s very hush-hush,\u201d Holland said. \u201cHe loosely pitched what it is. When he\u2019s ready, he\u2019ll announce what it is.\u201d<\/p>\n
\tHolland previously told \u201cGood Morning America\u201d that Nolan offering him a part \u201cwas the phone call of a lifetime,\u201d adding: \u201cIt was reminiscent of getting the call about \u2018Spider-Man\u2019 10 years ago.
