\tThe new version, currently in pre-production, will feature a fresh take on the thriller with popular Brazilian actor Isis Valverde stepping into the lead role.<\/p>\n

Fincher\u2019s original, which starred Jodie Foster, was praised for its tense atmosphere and sharp direction.<\/p>\n
\tOver two decades later, the original\u2019s themes of fear, survival, and family will resonate just as deeply in the Brazilian adaptation, according to its producers, who say the new version was developed with global streaming platforms in mind.<\/p>\n
